The 2016 Children’s Christmas Party was once again a huge success. Nearly 200 excited kids came along and with over 200 adults attending, a fabulous day was had by all. There was an array of activities for all to enjoy …. pony rides, baby animal farm, a balloon artist, bowling elves, bean bag toss, sand art craft corner, remote control cars, wiggle cars, fishing for ducks, Ricky the Caricaturist, train rides, inflatable slide and of course the Dora Bouncy Castle.
Keith Waller and John Marris cooked up a storm on the BBQ for the adults and the children were provided with fabulous little lunch boxes. And just to top the whole morning off, Santa and Mrs Claus arrived in style and proceeded to hand out presents to all of the young folk.
A big thank you goes to Sally Meadows and her trusty team of helpers, along with the Social Committee, for their assistance leading up to and during the event. Sally puts in many, many hours of work prior to the party and co-ordinates a spectacular day once again for the kids. Thanks to the LKCC staff for the role they play in this event also.
