Over 230 members and their guests attended the final Forecaddies luncheon for the year on Friday 16th December. Our guest speaker, The Honourable Julie Bishop MP, delighted a packed house with her entertaining, detailed and very interesting talk, finishing with Q&A time.
Mosswood winemaker Keith Mugford gave a good insight into the history of Mosswood Wines and their wonderful wines were on tasting throughout the day and also included in the luncheon. The Chef created a delicious 3 course meal, including some Patagonian Toothfish for entrée. Vice President Con Barron presented Julie with some lovely wines from Mosswood and Jacinta Pember was the recipient of a bottle of Mosswood, being the lucky door prize winner drawn by Julie.
This was no doubt one of the best Forecaddies we have hosted at Lake Karrinyup and a great way to finish off the Social Calendar for the year. A big thank you goes to the Chairman of the Social Committee Evan Campbell, our Executive Chef Dean and Food & Beverage Manager Romana, along with their Food & Beverage team for making this big day so streamlined and enjoyable.
