On Saturday 18th April the Men’s Golf season began with the annual Chalice Pairs contested by 256 members throughout the morning and afternoon fields.
With a fantastic score of +11 in the 4BBB Par format the eventual very popular winners were Brendan Milburn & Cameron Hede one shot clear of tied runners up Fred Margaria & Neil McManus, Paul Baker & Matt Allen, Brent Steedman & Chris Schrape and Chris Lalor & Ian K Marshall all on a great score +10.
President John Hanly & Captain John Wallace opened the golfing season by addressing both AM & PM lunch attendances wishing all players the very best for the upcoming 2017 season.
