As members are aware the front nine greens are due for replacement commencing in late June. As part of the decision not to replace the back nine greens until next year every effort must be made to keep these greens in playable condition for this period. An important element of this is to ensure that they drain freely throughout the coming winter and that the thatch layer is broken down allowing root growth to improve the health of the greens. To achieve these goals the greens on the back nine of the Main Course along with the chipping green and North Course will be cored next Monday May 22.
This will result in these holes being closed next Monday while this work is undertaken.
Holes 1 -9 on the Main Course will still remain available for play and bookings can be made through the Pro Shop for these times from 7:00am. The full 18 holes along with the North Course will be re-opened for play from Tuesday May 23.
