We had an absolutely, fabulous, sunny Sunday for the end of the Winter Season and our annual Roast Golf event on Sunday 27th August.
Another highly successful fun, novelty, family golf & giggles event which was just right for beginners, new players and the next generation to dip their toe in to the experience that is GOLF.
There was a full field on Sunday morning on the North Course playing in a 6 team Ambrose (so no pressure), followed by a shower, change and a yummy roast lunch and pudding. Presentations and Prizes were well received, with the NAGA (the traditional “Roast Potato Kit“) being taken out by the McGlashan Clan including 3 generations of family and friends.
3rd Prize went to “Team Giggins”, 2nd Prize to “Team Wallace” including 2 generations and the winners “Team Klimczyk” taking home massive wooden grazing platters. After dessert, a few stayers enjoyed the AFL on the TV. It was a lovely family day with kids cheering on parents and parents cheering on the kids.
