The Ladies Championship and Handicap Foursomes was held on Thursday 31st May. The weather, despite a worrying forecast, was perfect – calm, warm though cloudy. This was all to change with just under an hour to go. Unfortunately, due to a severe thunderstorm, the final group was unable to complete their round which was very disappointing. Also disappointing was the low number of entries in all three competitions ? 36 holes, 18 holes and Short Course. However, quality made up for this lack of players and the scores were very good.
