On Saturday 17th April the Men’s Golf season began with the annual Chalices Pairs contested by 238 members throughout the morning and afternoon fields .
With an fantastic score of +11 in the 4BBB Par format the eventual very popular winners were James Paxton & Danny Psaros one shot clear of tied runners up Con Barron & Paul Campbell, Patrick Berney & Steve Seward and Alex Monteath & John Marris all on a great score +10.
President Con Barron opened the golfing season by addressing both AM & PM lunch attendances wishing all players the very best for the upcoming 2018 season.
