On Thursday 14th March 2019 the annual Female Members Opening Day for the Daisy Savage Bowl was held. The format of the day was Four-Ball Stableford with 160 playing on the Main Course and 33 on the North Course. Following a beautiful day out on the course, presentations were held in the Main Bar with members of the General Committee, past Female Presidents and various sub committee members all present. Before the days winners were announced, President Con Barron presented the Member’s Trophy to Cheryl Miller and Joanne Ford introducing the trophy into play for the 2019 season.
Winners on the Main Course with 50 points were Roslyn Newick and Judy O’Rourke
Runners up with 49 points on a count back were Marina Bowra and Kim Cook.
Winners on the North Course with 42 points were Pam Wardle and Lyn McKeown
Runners up with 41 points were Narelle Price and Claire MacKinnon.
Following presentations the ladies’ enjoyed a lovely dinner in the dining room which was filled with lots of laughter, friends and cherished memories.
