Division 1 – Played Cottesloe at Royal Fremantle Golf Club
Well done ladies on your 6/1 win over Cottesloe at Royal Fremantle Golf Club, on Mothers Day!
Carmen had a very convincing win playing beautifully, Robyn came through after a hard fought win. Jo fought back and won on the 20th and Maddi continued her winning ways after the foursomes win last Thursday. Also well done Georgia and Sheridan. Peta had a hard fought match to the 18th..
All in all a great team effort played with plenty of spirit and the will to win is definitely showing through.
I am very proud of you all and know how much you want to win for your LKCC.

Division 2 – Played Nedlands at The Vines Country Club
Congratulations to our Division 2 Team who secured their first victory of the season at The Vines Golf Resort on Monday. Despite missing a couple of top players the team rallied with a 5/2 win over Nedlands.
The bottom of the order sealed the victory for us with wins from Trish Hoile, Jane Abbott, Sherry Bell-Vaughan, Mandy O’Shea & Jill Dorrington.
Though our 1 & 2 positions, Jan King & Anne-Marie Tsaknis, fell just short in their matches they can be proud of their efforts, we know you both fought hard and gave it your all.
I look forward to next week when we take on Royal Perth at Mount Lawley.
This will be a tough match but I know we can rise to the occasion. In the meantime keep practicing and remember “an up and down beats a three putt every time – practice your short game” (John Hopkins)!

Division 4 – Played WA Golf Club at Cottesloe Golf Club
Well… we had a new experience today… our first loss, going down 5/2 to a very strong WA Golf Club at Cottesloe.
It’s not that we let them trample us – the overall result hung in the balance til the very end. It was a tough fought battle against a better team on the day.
Congratulations to our two winners  – with convincing victories, commiserations to those who didn’t quite get there today, and a big thank you to all those who caddied and supported us once again.
Another day… another victory… as we confidently prepare for Round 4 versus Lakelands at LKCC.
