Division One – played against Mount Lawley at WAGC

I’d firstly like to commend the team for braving the elements and playing in such extremely wintry weather on Sunday. Unfortunately it wasn’t our day as we went down 5/2 to 2nd placed Mount Lawley. All matches were hard fought and it very easily could have been a win for LKCC with two matches going to the 19th being Carmen and Georgia..Well done to our two wins Sheridan and Robyn. Thank you to all caddies for your support of the players today especially in the conditions the matches were played in, also to our LKCC supporters.

Division Two – played against The Vines at Nedlands Golf Club

This week we took on the Vines at Nedlands Golf Club in diabolical weather conditions. Shortly after the first match teed off play was suspended as heavy rains flooded the greens. Finally we teed off an hour later only to encounter strong winds and heavy showers throughout our matches. Everyone fought hard but unfortunately we went down 1-6 to our opponents. Well done to Cath Witherow for winning her match 2 up.  Thank you to all players and our wonderful caddies who supported us in such miserable weather, I know we all did our best in very trying conditions.

Division Four – played against Kwinana at WA Golf Club

What a team! Not torrential rain, nor gale-force winds, nor thunder, nor lightening, could deter the players and caddies of the Super-team this week.
It was a hard-fought battle by all, in very tough conditions, to produce a great win of 4-3 against Kwinana.
A special thank you to all our caddies in particular – it was definitely an effort ‘above and beyond the call of duty’!
We’re sitting just one point off the lead… there’s still a chance to take out the flag if everything goes our way in the final round next week. LETS DO IT!
