Congratulations to our 2012 Club Champion, Sharon Dawson who defeated Tobey Robinson 3&1 in the Championship Final played on Thursday 30th August. The top eight qualifiers were Tobey, Sharon, Peta Roberts, Veronica Ntoumenopoulos, Karie Liggins, Helen Logie, Catherine Witherow and Jenny Elphick. After some hard fought matches earlier in the week, Tobey and Sharon played a great final in glorious sunny weather. After being 2 up at lunch, Tobey clawed her way back to be just 1 under after 31 holes but Sharon held her nerve and won a closely contested match on the 35th hole. It was very pleasing to see such a large crowd following the match, especially after lunch and they were treated to some excellent golf. Congratulations to the other winners as follows:
