LKCC ranks #15

We are very pleased and proud to announce to our membership that Lake Karrinyup has been ranked number 15 in the Australian Golf Digest Top 100 Golf Courses in Australia 2020/2021.

Just published, AGD writes “The star of WA golf regains the two places it lost two years ago, fortifying its place in the second ten of the ranking. Lake Karrinyup generated just as many totals in the 70’s (out of 80) as it did 60’s tallies, with Shot Values and Design Variety leading the way, well supported by a healthy Conditioning average.

Last year’s ranking of 17 was mostly due to It dipping a couple of spots after rebounding from the conditioning issues that plagued the layout during the World Super 6 tournament 12 months prior to that.  Incidentally, Lake Karrinyup ranked as high as 6 back in 1994.

Many of our reciprocal clubs also appear in the Top 20 ….. #20 Peninsula Kingswood (South), #19 The Lakes, #16 The National (old); #14 Metropolitan; #12 The National (Moonah); #11 Royal Adelaide; #9 Victoria; #8 Royal Melbourne (East); #6 Peninsula Kingswood (North); #5 New South Wales; #3 Kingston Heath; #1 Royal Melbourne (West).
