54 members were present at the 2020 AGM held on the 10th November at the Clubhouse. The only voting that took place was for the appointment of the Auditor (BDO) for the ensuing year. The Motion to appoint BDO was carried.
3 new General Committee members were elected, those being Leo Crohan, Chris Schrape and Sheila Klimczyk who were warmly welcomed. Those choosing not to re-elect were thanked for their time on the Committee and various Sub-Committees. Captain, Ralph Gibson did not seek re-election after being elected to the General Committee in 2013; Pauline von Karlowitz chose not to seek re-election after joining the General Committee in 2017; Sam Gill joined the General Committee in 2018 and also chose not to re-elect. Phil Grice was elected as Men’s Captain for 2020/21 and Stephen Moloney was elected to the position of Vice Captain.
The Treasurer, John Fitzgerald, gave a presentation on the Club’s finances and the Chairman of our Finance Committee, gave an informative presentation on the Capital Fund and other areas. General Manager, Damon Lonnie, presented on the club’s membership trends, our new branding, the new Strategic Plan launch and various other updates.
