The Food and Wine festival that was held on Sunday the 4th November by the younger members committee was another great success. The weather on the day wasn’t as predicted for November and were therefore made to move the event indoors, this didn’t stop our members and friends with over 100 people in attendance on the day. A huge thank you goes out to the 15 different wineries that made the day as successful as it was.
We are pleased to announce the new red and white wines that will be going on the wine list after being selected as best red and white on the day, awarded to two of our very own members:
Best Red: Knee Deep Sue Cabernet Sauvignon 209 (Member Phil Childs)
Best White wine: My Crow 2011 Chardonnay (Member Greg Hortle)
