House Membership Terms and Conditions 1. All private functions require a House Member or LKCC member in charge to be present at the function. 2. An annual subscription of $100 will be charged. 3. The term of House Membership shall not exceed twelve months. 4. The 12 months of House Membership ie ability to use the facilities as outlined in (iv) above, outside of the function he/she books, commences only after all monies for the function have been received. 5. The person applying for the function is the only person granted the House Membership. It is not transferable. 6. As a House Member, the person is allowed to use the Club House other than the locker rooms and the tennis courts. For the purposes of clarity a House Member shall not be entitled to any playing rights in relation to the Golf Links, practice facilities or tennis courts. 7. When using the dining facilities, the House Member must settle the account immediately in cash or by credit card. 8. The House Member may bring guests in line with the Club’s constitution when using the Club House as per 4. 9. The House Member is subject to all normal regulations of the Club. 10. A House Member shall not be entitled to receive notices or attend meetings or vote at Annual or General Meetings. Print Name: Date: Signature: General Terms and Conditions BOOKINGS 1. Bookings must be made in writing. All bookings are subject to approval by the General Committee of Lake Karrinyup Country Club. 2. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Lake Karrinyup Country Club may cancel any booking that has been made at any notice. Should such a circumstance arise a full refund will be forwarded however Lake Karrinyup Country Club will not be responsible for any costs or liabilities incurred by the client in the preparation of the event. 3. Bookings can only be made on the condition that the applicant must apply for and have approved House Membership of Lake Karrinyup Country Club. 4. Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of your deposit and email of conformation from the Functions Coordinator, subject to ratification by the General Committee. 5. Conformation of your function may take up to 6 weeks. SETTLEMENT OF ACCOUNT 6. All remaining costs must be paid at the time of confirmation of numbers i.e 7 days prior to the function. In addition, if beverage on a consumption basis, the amount of beverage consumed will not be known until after the function, a credit card number must be given in advance of the function for beverage consumption to be charged against. This will also be used to charge any other costs that may arise between the date of confirmation of final numbers and the end of the function. 7. Intention to cancel a booking must be given in writing. If so, the following forfeitures, inclusive of GST, will apply. a) Management’s decision to cancel (refer to 2) no charge b) More than 2 months notice by client no charge c) Between 8 days and 2 months notice 40% of catering costs d) Notice of 7 days or less Full cost of food and beverage as confirmed 8. With the exception of the deposit, any payments can only be made by cash, credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Bankcard only) or bank cheque. Personal cheques will not be accepted.
