115 members and their guests enjoyed a colourful, vibrant, fun day at the races on the 6th November when LKCC hosted the annual Melbourne Cup Luncheon. With champagne & canapes on arrival everyone was in good spirits spending up big on the sweeps and quinella tickets. After the race on the big screens in the main bar, members and their guests were treated to a wonderful 3 course meal prepared by Executive Chef Richard and his team with some lovely local wines being ordered from the extensive wine list. The President Chris Carey announced the best dressed male, female, couple and table along with the most “interesting” dressed and lucky chair prize. A great day was had by all and they are already planning their tables for next year!
