The 2021 Bowra & O’Dea Women’s Golf Classic was played over 3 days at LKCC from the 22nd to the 24th of March. The course was in stunning condition and presented a great challenge to participants in the 72 and 54 hole events.
Over ninety women from all over Australia competed, with NSW’s June Song taking out the 72 hole gross event with scores of 73, 73, 71, 75.
LKCC members performed well. Carmen Palframen won the 54 hole senior gross, with Robyn Lamb runner up, Peta Roberts in 3rd place and Jo Ford in 4th place. Carmen also won the Commemoration Cup, best 36 holes gross for round 2 and 3. Anne Marie Tsaknis won 3rd place in the 54 hole senior nett. Lake Karrinyup Junior, Sheridan Clancy was the 18 hole gross winner for round 3.
Bowra & O’Dea have generously supported the event for seventeen years, with LKCC member, Joe O’Dea presenting the prizes for the competition. Congratulations to all who took part and well done to all of the Lake Karrinyup ladies participating in this wonderful event.
