We hope you all enjoyed our trip to Scotland last Thursday – the weather there was much better than it is here at the moment!
The evening got off to a good start with a hundred thousand welcomes and entry under the crossed swords. We were able to farewell Damon in style with a traditional Scottish toast – Slainte!
We were thoroughly entertained, although the committee act did not go according to plan – stage fright I think – and left nothing to the imagination! The yoga girls showed their flexibility and ‘Best Friends’, Ali and Jen, added a touch of glamour to the evening.
The costumes were all fantastic, the room was colourfully decorated and dinner was great – even though some were not so keen on the haggis?
Thanks to all who assisted with the evening in any way, and to everyone who really entered into the spirit of the evening and made it such a great success – as you can see from the photos!
