The always popular Christmas Cup was held on Saturday, 8th December. The extreme heat conditions experienced in 2011 were left well behind as a field of 128 played the Mixed Canadian Foursomes Stableford format in near perfect conditions. The pairing of Ronnie Ntoumenopoulos and John Hanly continued their dominance of the mixed events in 2012 winning on a count back from Vicki and Rick Malone on 35 points. Jenny and Barry Barr were one shot further back. After presentations were completed players and partners moved through to the Dining Room for a gourmet buffet and all enjoyed a great night of food, wine and live entertainment by Purple Haze.
