It gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of Gavin Burt to the role of General Manager – Lake Karrinyup Country Club.
Gavin graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 1998 with a Bachelor of Economics and spent over 20 years in the corporate world particularly involved in the finance and customer service areas.
In 2018 he decided to follow his passion for golf and took up the position of General Manager at Royal Fremantle Golf Club.
The former Lion Executive and Royal Fremantle Golf Club General Manager will commence on the 29th November, 2021. After an extensive search it was Gavin’s significant corporate experience coupled with his time at Royal Fremantle that made him the ideal candidate to lead Lake Karrinyup into the future.
Gavin brings with him strong leadership and strategic thinking, a clear service orientated mindset and a passionate understanding of golf. The General Committee are excited about working with Gavin in ensuring that Lake Karrinyup Country Club continues to provide the ultimate membership experience now and into the future.
We also welcome his wife Jane and 11 year old son Mitchell into the Lake Karrinyup family.
