Sunday the 14th of November saw the first Sunday Session at Lake Karrinyup and it was a tremendous success.
Well over 270 members and their guests attended this event and a great time was had by all. The Murphy Brothers certainly did not disappoint playing some great tunes for 3 hours, even playing some special requests.
There was plenty of seating for everyone including low style concert chairs, picnic benches and the courtyard furniture. With an extra portable bar on hand, no one had to queue for drinks and there was never a wait for food, which was plentiful, full of variety and very reasonably priced.
There has been nothing but praise for this event and a big thank you must go to the entire Food & Beverage team ably led by David, Chef Jonny and his team for the delicious food and our Maintenance team, Ben & Rod for assisting with the huge task of set-up and pack-down. A great team effort by all involved from Food & Beverage, Admin and Maintenance.
If you weren’t lucky enough to get to the Club on Sunday, be sure to come for a Friday Night Sundowner soon. There is fabulous entertainment every week, a great choice of food options, drinks specials and of course the bouncy castle for the young folk.’
