On Saturday 11th June members competed for another of our office bearer trophies and in honor of our Club Vice- Captain, Mr. Stephen Moloney.
Better than expected weather welcomed the 203 members across the day and eventual popular winner and well out in front was Geoff Brown on a superb score of 42 points, then followed by Andrew Pascoe, John Kime and Stephen Seward all on 39 points.
The members that were clever on our Par 3’s and scheiving NTP’s were Peter Shipway (5th) , Ken Kirwan (8th) , Tej Mehta (12th) and John Wallace (17th). The Best Gross of the day went to Simon Liddell (71).
For his efforts Geoff was awarded a very nice LKCC Logo Golf Bag Travel Cover and well prepared for his next golfing holiday interstate or abroad.
To conclude the day, Vice Captain Stephen Moloney provided a wonderful speech to the members in attendance and culminating in the traditonal toast to our Club Vice Captain.
