Over 100 members and their guests enjoyed the Forecaddies Luncheon on the 15th July.
General Manager, Gavin Burt, introduced the owner of Howard Park Wines, Jeff Burch, who gave an informative and entertaining insight into his 30 years in the wine business. Howard Park Wines complemented the fabulous 3 course meal on the day.
Following the main course, Gavin then introduced the comedy Hypnotist, Matt Hale. Matt is a winner of 3 national comedy awards, former radio personality, and TV presenter for Channel Nine’s Destination WA…better known as… Australia’s Comedy Hypnotist! Matt informed the audience of how the show would work and called for volunteers to be seated at the front. A couple of them were tapped on the shoulder to return to their tables and then there were 9. Matt proceeded to have the group playing musical instruments such as the drums, guitar and trumpet and the crowd were in hysterics. He also had them taking selfies for their dating profiles along with the token quokka selfie shot. Driving in their cars was another funny journey and tears were rolling down a lot of faces in the audience. The dancing towards to end of the show was a highlight, especially with Grant Bird busting some moves on the dance floor. A great day was had by all of those in attendance.
