Geoff Anderson and Tim Bult won the Annual Calcutta Cup at the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews this past week.
The Royal Calcutta Golf Club (est. 1829) is the oldest Golf Club established outside the UK. The trophy they donated to the R&A has been played for since 1885, it was originally known as the Silver Cashmere Cup. More can be read about the trophy here.
The tournament is a Foursomes Matchplay event played over the course of a week. They played 72 holes on the final two days and came out victorious against competitors from all over the world, and they are flying back to St Andrews this week for the black-tie dinner.
