Hosted by our Women’s President, Regina Gaujers, the 2025 Women’s President’s Trophy was played under cool and occasionally damp conditions, as light showers swept across the course to get the game underway.
The event marked another key Women’s fixture for the year and welcomed a strong turnout of players who braved the wintry weather with great spirit. Regina’s warm hospitality ensured a memorable day for all involved, both on and off the course.
The competition was fierce, but it was Julie Garland-Cribbon who rose to the top, claiming the President’s Trophy – this year, a beautiful hamper full of goodies. Julie delivered an outstanding round, scoring 42 points to just edge out a tightly packed leaderboard, with Lina Cui hot on her heels with 41 points.

On the North Course, it was Kay Webse who claimed top honours with 37 points on countback, just ahead of Sally Bakker, also on 37 points, and Myra Cooperwhite, who took third – also with 37 points! The thrilling finish on both courses was a testament to the depth of talent and competitive spirit in our women’s golf community.

The Main Course hosted 111 players, with a further 34 members teeing it up on the North Course. A big congratulations to all the women for braving the winter conditions and making it such a successful day!
