Legacy Golf Day

Sunday 28th April

112 members and their guests took part in the Legacy Golf Day today and 124 had a delightful lunch post golf in the Dining Room.  Winners of the trophy  were President Chris Carey and Lesley Meaney with 37 points and Runners Up were Ann-Marie Tsaknis and Craig Williams with 36 points on a countback to Jodie and Tibor von Karlowitz.  See the “Results” sheet on the 28th April timesheet for a full list of prize winners.

The Marketing Manager for Legacy WA Glenn Weiland and President John Morrow were in attendance and not only gave a very interesting insight in the work of Legacy WA but also presented our Club with a commemorative plaque to celebrate the 50th year of LKCC running this event.  The excitement was building as everyone in attendance awaited the drawing of the raffle.  Our lucky member Barry Barr won the first prize which was a trip to Cable Beach Resort for 5 nights including airfares valued at $3,000. Other raffle prize winners listed below.  Susie Williams was the lucky member to win the door prize on the day – use of the Governor’s Car Park for the next 12 months.  This year we raised an amazing $20,000 which could not have been achieved without the help of our wonderful prize donors and of course the support from our membership.

Raffle Winners:  2nd prize of the $1800 Sony TV package goes to Andy Stone, 3rd prize of the $1000 Parkers Menswear voucher went to Graeme Bushell, 4th prize of the Detoxifying Day at The Spa at The Richardson (value $460) went to Leigh De Burgh and the 5th prize which was the Lexus Golf Pack valued at $300 went to Mal Bult.
