The 2025 Lake Cup was held over the weekend of Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October, bringing together a strong field of golfers for two days of great competition.
After some outstanding golf, David Evans emerged as the winner of the 2025 Lake Cup, with impressive nett rounds of 69 and 68 for a total of 137 — finishing four strokes clear of runner-up Robin Rindel.
It was a particularly special win for David, marking his first Lake Cup victory in 29 years, having last claimed the title back in 1996. This marks the first time in the Cup’s history to have a repeat winner!! Congratulations, David — a fantastic achievement!
Competitors were also vying for qualification spots in the upcoming 2025 Club Championships. Congratulations to all who took part, and best of luck to those moving forward to the championships.
