Tandridge Golf Club (England)

Tandridge Golf Club is a classic course located near Oxted in the beautiful Surrey Hills, England, and was designed by the renowned architect Harry Colt. The club, which opened in 1924, is considered a traditional but very friendly member’s club and is consistently ranked among the best inland layouts in the South East of England and beyond, featuring in various UK&I course rankings. Recent restoration work, initially by Frank Pont and continued by Tim Lobb, has aimed to bring back Colt’s original design philosophy, enhancing the course’s strategic test and aesthetics.

Fontainebleau Golf Club (France)

Fontainebleau Golf Club, situated in the Fontainebleau forest, Seine-et-Marne, is one of the oldest and most highly regarded golf clubs in France, known for its superb scenery and historic charm. The course was originally designed by Julien Chantepie in 1909 but was substantially redesigned by English architect Tom Simpson in 1920, with subsequent improvements by Fred Hawtree. Widely considered one of the best courses in Europe, the club is a top-rated traditional, walking course, famed for its narrow, tree-lined fairways, over 100 fine sand bunkers, and unique rock formations.

Saunton Golf Club (England)

Saunton Golf Club, located near Braunton on the North Devon coast, England, is a prestigious club renowned for its two championship links courses, the East and the West, set within the UNESCO-recognised Braunton Burrows. The highly-acclaimed East Course, the club’s main attraction, was designed by the celebrated architect Herbert Fowler in the 1920s and is consistently ranked among the world’s top 100 golf courses. Saunton has a rich championship history, having hosted numerous prestigious amateur events, confirming its stature as one of the premier 36-hole links venues in the UK.
