Our very own Hannah Green has made history, becoming the first Australian in more than a decade to win the Women’s Australian Open.
Hannah secured the title at Kooyonga Golf Club in Adelaide with a composed final-round performance, finishing at 11-under-par to claim a one-shot victory. Despite strong charges from several challengers during the final round, Hannah held her nerve late to seal the win.
The victory continues a remarkable run of form for the West Australian, coming shortly after her recent LPGA Tour win in Singapore.
It’s a special milestone for Hannah and her team, adding another outstanding achievement to her growing list of international successes.
