Friday night’s first ever Poker Tournament was a huge success and a great night was had by all.
Over 80 members and their guests attended the Tournament which our Younger Members Committee put together. The evening commenced with a Tutorial for the novices and then the fun began at 7pm. As people put their Poker Faces on, cards were drawn, chips were stacked and some serious money was being thrown around the tables. Liz Poustie was the overall winner of the night and walked away with a flat screen TV. She was closely followed by Christine Evans with Leon Davies coming third. Other winners of the night were Craig Lubich, Kyle Carv, Ian Moustaka, Christine Hane (holidaying here with the Mullins family all the way from Ireland) and Terry Wallace.
An amazing $4,000 was raised on the night and this will be donated to our Junior Programme at Lake Karrinyup.
