The 36 hole foursomes event was held on Sunday, 27 October. Players started with the traditional “goon juice” breakfast before embarking on round 1. With the course still in tournament condition and bright sunshine meant the perfect day for golf.
The Championship was won by the pairing of Roy William and President Chris Carey who finished with a 36 hole gross total of 158. Runners up were defending champions Nigel Goodall and Kevin Prindiville on 160. The Handicap winners were Greg Baker and Barry Barr on 151, winning on a countback from Clive Davies and Bob O’Brien.
