Proposed Constitutional Changes

We wish to advise members that at its January meeting the General Committee agreed to propose a number of amendments to the Constitution to be put forward for the consideration of members at the Annual General Meeting on Thursday March 6. These include: changing terminology from “Managing Secretary” to “General Manager”, amending a number of clauses to reflect changes in the Liquor Control Act and importantly a proposal to introduce postal voting for the election of office bearers.

The Notice of Meeting for the 2014 Annual General Meeting and 2013 Annual Report will be circulated to all members two weeks prior to the AGM (as per the Constitution) taking place at 7.30pm on Thursday 6th March, 2014.
