Seven couples from LKCC attended a 3 day reciprocal visit to Elanora Country Club in late September. They were a fairly eclectic group:

- Peter & Ann Manning
- Jules & Morag Harris
- Steve & Carmen Palframan
- Paul & Jenny Simpson
- Fred & Caroline Witting
- Michael & Theresa Mullins
Unfortunately Barry & Jenny Barr were unable to join the group after Barry had torn a hamstring which precluded his attendance.
They had a most enjoyable stay “in house” in the superb accommodation the Club provides. Their hosts, led by Tim and Tori Cormack, made them most welcome and looked after our group extremely well. On the golfing side of things they were no match for their hosts, taking out only one match on each of the two days of competition. They cheerfully presented their hosts with the splendid trophy that they had donated when they visited LKCC 2 years ago.
The visit was a resounding success and should become a regular fixture. They all agreed that there was a very close affinity between our 2 clubs in terms of our history, culture and philosophy.
Special thanks to the administration and other staff at Elanora who made our group feel at home and were very obliging. Special thanks also to Robyn for all that she did in making the arrangements for the visit and cobbling the “team” together.
