The 2015 golf season opened with the Locksley Hall Trophy played on Saturday the 7th of March. This mixed event is the traditional start to the golf season and is played as a Mixed Canadian Foursomes format.
It was fantastic to see a field of 64 pairings participating in the event this year which was played in ideal conditions. The 2015 instalment of the Locksley Hall Trophy was won by the husband and wife pairing of Hayley and Heath Gillard on a nett score of 68.5.
Narrowly missing out was the pairing of Robin Challenor and Elliot Mitchell who recorded a score of 69.25.
The traditional dinner followed the golf presentations where those in attendance were treated to an excellent meal and some live entertainment.
