Mike Cocking’s Course Tips

The first of the one-shotters, the 5th is beautifully framed by tall gums and an attractive set of bunkers.

The most difficult pins are at the back of the green where the golfer must carry the tier and stop the ball quickly. My favourite though, and perhaps the more interesting, is a front left pin. Whilst it looks intimidating tucked over the large bunker the surrounding slopes can be used to help funnel a well-struck shot close to the hole.
